Double Room In Watchet For Short Let Only

A good sized double room available in Watchet. The room has painted wooden floors with recessed wardrobe storage , it will be furnished with a double bed, comfortable mattress, 2 side tables. The bed will have a mattress protector, 2 pillows and a duvet. You will need your own bed clothes and towels.

There is a shared bathroom with a bath / over head shower (upstairs) and a separate toilet downstairs. Lounge with a wood burner and an open plan kitchen /dining room. Limited unpermitted street parking - usually no problems finding a space outside the house but at busy times may need to park around the corner.

The outside area (patio) looks out into the moors and has sea views, there is also a veg garden and lawn.

We don't have a TV and so don't need a license if you wanted to watch TV or similar you would need your own license.

Due to location this let might suit anyone working at Hinkley point - the park and ride to the site is a very short 2 minute drive from the house.

Bus routes are 8-10 minute walk into town, nearest shop (co op or spar) is 5 minutes walk. There are some lovely footpaths just up the hill and these can take you into the countryside.

We are looking for someone who is friendly and must be reliable, clean, tidy and respectful. Short term let only between 2-6 weeks maximum at a time whilst we are away travelling. This will be advertised sporadically throughout the year - please feel free to get in touch if you are able to plan this far in advance. We both have a plant based diet and would prefer someone who is vegetarian.

All bills included except electric (please note there is a pay as you go electric key that needs topping up at a post office or larger co-op).

We have a small very friendly dog who will most likely want to spend time on your lap, so if you are not a dog lover it is possibly not the right room for you :)
