Description
A warm, peaceful single room available in a cosy bungalow in the heart of East Harptree. The room faces the sunrise and looks out over open fields, making it ideal for someone who enjoys calm, gentle living and a connection to nature.
You’d be sharing the home with Ange, a self-employed gardener and nature lover who enjoys early nights, healthy living and a peaceful rhythm. She keeps the home clean, welcoming and relaxed, and would really value someone who feels aligned with that atmosphere. Ange is a non-smoker, not a drinker, and is early-to-bed and early-to-rise. She’s friendly, thoughtful and appreciates a housemate who’s considerate, tidy and grounded.
I’m Rob, the resident landlord — I’m around from time to time for maintenance, cleaning, gardening and general care of the property, but I’m not living here day-to-day. I’ll pop in occasionally and I’m always available if anything needs attention, but the rhythm of the home will mostly be shared between you and Ange.
The bungalow itself is fully furnished, warm and well looked after. There’s a shared kitchen, a cosy living room, and good broadband being installed on March 26th. There’s also space outside for a morning cup of tea in the sun. It’s a calm, quiet household — not a party place, but very friendly and respectful.
As the bungalow is in a village setting, having a car is strongly recommended for day-to-day living. Public transport here is very limited, so the room is best suited to someone who drives or works mostly from home and is comfortable with quiet countryside living.
We’re looking for someone who appreciates early evenings, gentle routines and peaceful home life. A non-smoker who enjoys calm, tidy living would be a perfect fit. This home tends to suit people who enjoy a settled lifestyle and a quiet place to recharge after the day.
Not suitable for students, and no pets please. References appreciated.
The room is available from April, and viewings can begin now. If the feel of this home resonates with you, we’d love to hear from you.
If you get in touch, it would be lovely to hear a little about yourself, your daily routine, and what draws you to this kind of home environment.
More photos of the room and shared spaces will be added shortly — we’re just finishing a little clearing and setting up before taking fresh pictures.
