I am looking for a professional lodger who is fluent in English and values a respectful, considerate living environment. Ideally, you will be a non-smoker; vaping is permitted indoors, but cigarettes must be smoked outside.
This home is not suitable for anyone who drinks heavily or uses drugs. To maintain a harmonious household, I will be introducing a simple cleaning rota, helping to keep shared spaces tidy and avoid disagreements.
Clear boundaries will also be in place so that everyone can enjoy both a comfortable home and their own private space.
My current lodger works from home on night shifts as a telecommunicator. She is very quiet, and her work does not cause any disturbance in the household.
Before confirming a new lodger, we will arrange a meeting so that everyone has the chance to get to know each other and ensure we are all comfortable sharing the space.
Guests are welcome to stay occasionally, provided this is done with consideration for others in the household. As long as everyone’s peace and privacy are respected, and visits are kept to a reasonable limit (no more than a couple of nights per week), this will not be a problem.
