Upstairs bedroom in my detached cottage, with views towards the Mendip Hills, in a quiet semi rural location. A medium sized double bedroom, together with a seperate fitted kitchen diner, for the lodger's own use.
You will shared have use of the upstairs bathroom, toilet & utility room. The rooms are currently lightly furnished due to last lodgers request. The photos show some furnishing that I can provide, if needed.
The layout of my home, means that the lodger can live independently, with their own kitchen, fridge & freezer.
As the home owner, I live downstairs with my own kitchen, toilet & shower. I also spend quite a lot of the time with my partner who lives across the road. PLEASE NOTE... I have a cat & she can be excluded from the upstairs of the house if required.
I am letting the upstairs front two rooms of my home for £550 rent per month. I charge an additional £50 per month for contibution towards gas, electricity & water. This contribution may change depending on whether energy and/or water bills rise (or fall). I pay for all of the broadband, council tax & TV licence.
My home is 15 minutes drive from Bristol Airport, 30 minutes from Weston & 45 minutes drive from central Bristol. Due poor local public transport, it is best to have your own transport for commuting (e. g. car, motor bike or bicycle). There is plenty of on-street parking by my home.
This will suit a student or quiet professional person. Preferably a cat-friendly person.
Strictly no pets (I already have a cat), no smokers or no vapers. No heavy drinkers.
PLEASE NOTE: FEMALE PREFERRED, AS I HAVE HAD BETTER EXPERIENCE WITH FEMALE LODGERS BEFORE (TIDY, QUIET, NON-DRINKERS etc). I WOULD CONSIDER A TIDY & QUIET MALE LODGER.
