Fully furnished double bedroom & private bathroom with bills included in a large 5th floor apartment within a gated complex located in the International Sports Village in Cardiff Bay.
There is currently no onsite parking available for any lodger I accept due to works being carried out, though I am typically away 75% of the time so you'd be welcome to use my designated space when I know I'll be away. There are a few off-site parking options a short walk away. The area is well served by local transport (bus stops directly outside & Cogan railway station), and there is a secure bike shed.
The double bedroom contains double bed & mattress, large built-in wardrobe with shoe rack & wooden hangers, bedside tables, wall mirror, wall-mounted smart TV & sitting chair. The occupant will also have access to their own private bathroom.
All main bills included - broadband, council tax, energy, water, ground rent & property maintenance charges.
A 24 hour concierge is located directly opposite the block.
The Location: The apartment is located in the Cardiff International Sports Village with easy access to the A4232 & M4. Both Cardiff City Centre & Penarth Town are a 10 minute drive or Taxi away. Bus stop directly outside the complex that regularly makes a 20 minute bus trip into the city. Cogan railway station is a 5-10 minute walk.
Local Facilities: Within walking distance you'll find several supermarkets, several gyms, cafes & coffee shops, bakery, as well as a wide range of other stores at the Cardiff Bay Retail Park (Boots, JD Sports etc.) Bars & restaurants are nearby with Mermaid Quay one side & Penarth Marina on the other. Within the immediate area you'll also find the International Swimming Pool, white water rating centre & Ice Arena Wales.
About me: I work as a photographer & digital marketing specialist & have lived here on & off for over 10 years. I'd like to think I'm super laid back & very easy to get on with! Always clean up after myself (or as I go while cooking) so you can expect to be living in a clean/tidy space. Spend most of my free time keeping fit with gym/running, out socialising or exploring, learning guitar (I try to keep it quiet!) watching random documentaries, and eating!
The room is ideal for a working professional who's also easy going & considerate.
