Friendly social male needed - clean Roath share

Hi!! We live in a 5 bed professional house; we are 3 females & 1 male in our mid 20s - 30s and we are looking for another fun friendly male housemate to move in - room is available as of now (late July 2026). We like a mixed house. Tenancies will likely be ending October 2027 in order for the landlord to do some work to the house - so this is available for 14 months or so :)

We are all working professionals. The house is friendly & we are keen to find the right fit for us. We also all like to keep it clean so looking for someone like minded.

The house is fully furnished. The bedroom available is a downstairs double bedroom. Photos in the ad show it both lived in and also now empty ready :) Fully furnished with bed, desk, chair, chest of drawers, wardrobe, bedside table.

House is situated just off Albany Road so great location for shops, buses etc. Free on street non permit parking outside.

We have a good sized kitchen & 2 fridge freezers for extra storage space, a tumble dryer & a wee back garden paved area for the summer with shed. New garden table & chairs arriving this week.

Upstairs bathroom with shower and bath. Extra little toilet room downstairs.

We are looking for a social fun clean male who is in their twenties or 30s and who is friendly and looking to socialise in the house rather than just take a room just for a bed. We would consider ourselves a friendly and sociable bunch and are looking for similar. We often socialise together as well as do things separately with other friends. We have been really lucky and all get on great so we are keen to find someone who will really fit in. As it is a homely house we are only looking for someone who is clean, tidy and considerate and happy to chip in with cleaning, sorting bills etc as we are past our student days! We are looking for a non-smoker only. The rent is £340 per month including council tax: rent price reflects that some work is needed to be done to the house.

Bills are split by all 5 of us. We have good loft insulation, carpets and double glazed windows for the winter. The landlord complies with legislation; the deposit protection schemes for bonds, has gas certificate, carbon monoxide detector and has fire extinguishers and smoke alarms upstairs and downstairs. It is a family run private landlord.
