Description
Room to rent in a newly renovated, friendly, awesome house share. I'm sad to be leaving, but I'm moving to the States and the rest of the house is keen to find a replacement that will fit in well and be respectful of the house. We enjoy our own space and quiet evenings, but also spending time together cooking or watching TV.
About The House
Spacious double rooms to rent in a recently (2021) restored house just 15 minutes walk from Cardiff Bay and 20 minutes from the city centre.
Plenty of on street parking, no permits required.
Bills included: Gas, electric, council tax, water, Virgin 200Mb Broadband.
The bedroom is downstairs and part furnished with: Double bed, large chest of drawers, curtains and mattress.
The bedrooms all have sturdy fire doors and locks.
The kitchen has granite tops, a breakfast bar and extending dining table. It is well equipped with crockery, cutlery and a bunch of appliances including: washer, dryer, dishwasher, induction hob. Oh and lots of house plants!
Sliding doors open out onto the sunny south facing garden. Planted in a low maintenance Mediterranean style with olive trees, herbs and bee friendly flowers.
There’s outside dining, rattan sofas and a rocking bench. Plenty of seating for hosting.
There’s a decent side alley with small undercover bike storage and with no rear access the garden is completely secure.
We have friendly and quiet neighbours.
We have three bathrooms, so you’ll never find yourself in a queue for the loo! The main one is a large room with a thermostatic drencher shower in a 1.7m shower tray, a lovely big sink and feature chimney breast. Two smaller bathrooms each have a shower sink and toilet.
The lounge has a TV, two three seater sofas, a foot stool and armchair. With plantation shutters for privacy.
About The Landlords
Hannah and Jack bought the house as a wreck three years ago and spent two years renovating everything from scratch using recycled and environmentally friendly materials. They are super friendly and very quick to respond to any queries or issues.
