I'm looking for a 2nd long term lodger to come & live in my own home.

I have a furnished spare bedroom (with super king bed & built in storage) along with a 2nd room (shared with existing lodger), which can be used as a lounge/office, available for rent.

I will require access to 2nd room as my boiler/airing cupboard are in there but essentially it will be your space to use.

£625pcm bills included (utilities, council tax, internet & TV)

250mbps Virgin internet, Sky Q & Sky Sports, Discovery+, Amazon Prime TV, Netflix & Disney+ all available in main living room.

Shared bathroom, kitchen, downstairs toilet, large south facing garden with decking area & covered man-cave/smoking area.

There's no smoking inside the house itself but I have a covered man-cave/smoking area.

On street parking, but it's a quiet residential street with lots of parking available (no permits required)

Good bus/train links close by along with a leisure centre, shops, pubs, cafe, pharmacy, doctors & dentists all in easy walking distance.

About me...

I'm a 45yr old male & I live with my 4 cats. (If you're not a cat person this may not be the place for you)

I also have an existing female lodger who's a similar age to me. She's lived with me for nearly a year now & we get on well.

I love sport (mainly football, F1 & NFL), and I have some great lifelong friends who come over & watch the football/F1 with me relatively regularly (especially in summer when I set up the TV on the decking)

I've worked for the same company 20+ years & work from home most days. The main living/dining room also doubles as my "office" so this room would be unavailable during working hours when I'm WFH

I have high standards & like the home to be kept clean & tidy at all times (I really hate clutter/mess) & would expect the same from a lodger.

Ideally I'd like to find someone easygoing, both me & my existing lodger get along with & is also looking for a longer term lodging (I'm not considering short term)

The room(s) will be available from 1st December 2024

I'm not in a rush to move someone in & will take my time to find the right person who's clean/tidy & fits well with me and my existing female lodger.
