Hey there!
We’re looking for a new housemate (woman only, please) to join our warm and social home in the heart of Taffs Well, a lovely village just north of Cardiff. It's a semi-detached 3-bedroom house in a super practical and beautiful location. It is nestled near lots of trails for walking and running as it is a stones throw from the Garth mountain and Castell Coch. It is also well connected to Cardiff city centre with a direct bus from almost outside the house (routes 132, 26 and 400) and it is just a 10-minute walk to the train station with direct trains to Cardiff which, when the metro line renovations finish in October, will be every 10 mins, they're every 15 mins now, so is ideal for commuting. We are also located just off the M4 for easy access to West Wales and the A470 for Bannau Brycheiniog/Brecon Beacons.
Room available from 14th July but we want to be flexible for the right person.
About the house:
* Three bedrooms (one for me and my partner, one used as a guest room/home office and the other is the room available).
* Shared bathroom (with a bathtub) and separate toilet.
* Spacious living room for board games, movie nights, or relaxing.
* Bright dining room with French windows opening straight onto the garden.
* Sunny, furnished garden (perfect for BBQs, sunbathing or reading a book).
* Shed + attic storage.
* Smart thermostats.
About the room for rent
* Furnished with a king size bed, double wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside cabinet and touch lamp.
* Overlooks our peaceful garden: lots of birdsong and trees!
Who you'd be living with:
We’re Heather and Jeanne, both in our early 30s, and we really value our home as a warm, welcoming space for connection and shared living.
* Heather works in healthcare and likes to hike, surf.
* Jeanne is French, teaches languages, and loves board games, climbing, winter dips.
* We often go on adventures in our campervan so you may often have the place to yourself.
We are looking for:
* A woman
* LGBT+ friendly
* Non-smoker
* Happy to live with a couple (Heather + Jeanne)
Rent is £500 per month.
Bills on top which is on average £80 each per month (gas, electric, broadband). Council tax and TV licence are included in the rent.
