A double room ensuite is available in a cosy 4 bedroom Victorian home. We have had a room come available on the top floor of the house as the wonderful current lodger will soon move out due to changing jobs. You will be sharing with one other person, Becks.
The room is a substantial, bright and spacious ensuite with a walk-in wardrobe and king size bed. Room comes fully furnished. Room also has a lock with a key.
The house has undergone total inside renovations in the last 3 years and kept lots of character in the property.
There is a shared garden, cosy warm living room with a wood burner fire and broadband.
A new boiler was installed in January 2023 and the house has a very spacious feel for a new tenant. Becks is a young working professional with a busy social life - tennis, going to the gym and hiking in particular.
There are two black cats - Diego and Olive. They are mainly outdoor cats, sometimes lounging about in the house when it is cold outside.
Bills included within the room price. More than happy to answer any questions or queries you may have in person. Really keen to get a lodger Becks gets along with, who enjoys their own space from time to time and will be busy just like Becks!
The house is very centrally located:
Time to Cardiff Town Centre: 22 min walk/5 min drive
Time to the gym: The Gym, Newport Road: 10 min walk/3 min drive. David Lloyd: 15 min walk/5 min drive
Supermarkets: Morrisons/Sainsburys /Lidl/Aldi on Newport Road, 10 min walk/ 3 min drive
Retails stores within 5 min walk: TK Maxx/Dunelm/Costa Coffee
There is plenty of free parking on the street outside, plus this tenancy comes with access to dishwasher/washing machine and space inside to store a bicycle. The house is also opposite a park. It is a 30 second walk to the post office, convenience store and hair salon.
