Double room in four-bedroom Canton townhouse

Affordable, furnished double room available in a quiet Canton cul-de-sac. Bathroom on the same floor, to be shared with one other housemate. The property includes a spacious living room; a downstairs toilet; a large kitchen with attached utility room; a garden; and a garage, which we use for storage.

The advertised rent does not include bills. Taking bills into account, the total rent for the room comes to about £400 per month; this includes water, gas, electricity, broadband, and council tax (band F).

The driveway can park one car, and nearby on-street parking is good. The garage has more than enough space for you to keep a bicycle.

Sanatorium Park, Gôl Centres and the Ely trail are a few minutes' walk from the house. Leckwith retail park, the Canton high street, and Ninian Park train station are all about one mile away. The city centre is two miles away.

You'll be living with three male housemates aged 24, 27 and 31, all working professionals (software development, medical work, and law). Easy-going, tidy, friendly, and relatively quiet; looking for similar.

Please note that the only furniture provided is a bed, mattress, bedside cabinet, chest of drawers and wardrobe; other pictured furniture belongs to the current housemates.

The contract will be three months fixed, then monthly. The landlady will probably ask you for proof of employment and proof of income. The contract does not allow pets, and for council tax reasons, we can't take any students.
