Double Room to Rent in Canton - bills included

My partner and I own and live in this little terraced house in Canton. It has 3 rooms and we rent out 2 of them. Available from 20/12/24.

We are both mental health nurses and our current tenant is a midwife. We are looking for someone who will respect shift patterns. It’s not the best property to work from home as there is no desk in the bedroom and the only tabletop space is the dining room table.

The bedroom itself has a double bed, bedside table, chest of drawers and a wardrobe. We have a bathroom with shower, bath, toilet and sink upstairs and a toilet and sink downstairs. You will also have access to our washing machine and dishwasher.

We are very chill but have a few rules surrounding our dog. He’s a lovely Australian Labradoodle who we are working very hard to train to come to work with us as a therapy dog. We do have a camera set up in the lounge to keep an eye on him from work. He is a very friendly but excitable boy, but can initially be nervous of strangers. We ask that you do not introduce any new people to him without our prior permission, and that you do not feed him any people food. There are some other rules but we are happy to go through that if you move in. Please don’t plan to move in if you’re not happy to follow rules in terms of the dog.

Rent includes the cost of bills and council tax. There is parking, however we have used our two residents permits so you would have to park in a non-permit space. Our current tenant reports that she hasn’t had any issues with parking. We are open to negotiating on rent and deposit.
