I have a lovely room to rent, in an artist-owned home, decorated and furnished to a high standard, with a host of unique features and touches.

The house is located in Riverside just on the edge of Canton, which means we're a 5/6 minute walk from a host of shops, pubs, cafes, Chapter Arts Centre, and a little further on - the bakeries and coffee houses of Pontcanna. Five minutes in the other direction, and you’ll hit Leckwith’s retail park with an Asda, Aldi and more, and we're 12 minutes walk from the city centre/Cardiff Central station.

I’ve lived in this house for over 25 years, and in that time have gradually built a living space that feels special yet relaxing.

As a live-in landlady, I'm unashamedly house proud, and looking for a tenant who'll also take pride in keeping our living space looking beautiful, clean and tidy. If you’re fastidious, value order, and don’t do well around clutter - then this might be the space for you!

The house has a large shared bathroom, with bath and shower, a fully equipped kitchen, and a relaxing living room space. There’s also a lovely patio garden out back which is south facing,.

I’m offering a single room to someone who'll appreciate the work that's gone into creating a calm and beautiful living space. You'll be sharing the 3 bedroom house with myself and one other tenant. I’m looking for a working professional, ideally someone over 30, ideally a woman but having said that, it's more about finding the right person so I’m open/flexible.

Although the property is on the main road, once inside the house it’s quiet and restful.
