A bright and spacious double bedroom on the first floor of a mid-terraced house on Ordell st. in Splott. House was bought in 2018 and extensively renovated throughout over 3 years.

A very quiet side street with lots of parking available. All room furniture is IKEA including double bed, small desk and chair, 42 inch LG tv, wardrobe and chest of drawers. The room has a large window overlooking the garden with black out blinds.

Large garden with plenty of sunshine. Large kitchen, downstairs shower-room and toilet, upstairs WC. Dishwasher, air-fryer, washing machine and tumble dryer (winter use only).

Sharing with a very laid back owner (me, A&E nurse) and a Ukrainian refugee Doctor who has been here for 2 years. Both of us are very quiet and work a lot, so the communal areas of the house are almost always empty. Neither of us drink, smoke or party so we’re looking for a likeminded person to join us.

All bills are included; gas, electric, council tax, water rates, Virgin Fibre media (120mbs+). Central heating is via Hive and on a fair use policy as all bills are included.

No weird house rules; just clean up any mess you make, no noise after 10pm and ideally not somebody who is constantly bringing guests over. Will consider WFH housemates but only if this doesn’t involve using communal areas.

I have lodgers liability insurance, am registered with Cardiff Council and always provide a contract to protect your rights as a lodger.

The room will be free from 01/06/25. Anybody interested in viewing the house can do so from next week.
