Double Room Whitchurch

Hello! My name’s Clodagh 29F.

I’m looking to get a lodger for my spare room as living alone is spenny. I bought this crib around 2 years ago and have been slowly renovating & making it cosy. Whilst there’s still lots to do, it’s very liveable now and ready for a friendly lodger!

The house is located in Whitchurch, 2 min walk from Merthyr Road shops & very close to UHW Hospital. There are lots of handy bus routes nearby, and many train stations in walking distance (Llandaff, Whitchurch, Coryton). There is also on street parking outside the property.

The price is £625 per month including all bills (wifi, gas, electric, water, council tax, and you are very welcome to use my Netflix on the big telly etc). The bathrooms x2, kitchen, & living rooms x2 are shared areas. I’m quite a clean and tidy person, so would ideally would like someone similar. Don’t need to be Mrs Hinch but relatively clean would be ideal.

The room is furnished with a double bed, drawers and side table. There is no wardrobe currently, but I’d be happy to get one if needed. Just thought I’d wait to see if anyone interested already had some furniture they’d want to bring before buying one!

I work full time as an A&E nurse, so do a mixture of days / nights. On my days off, I love chilling, meeting pals for walks and coffees, and watching crap on the telly.

I’d quite like someone who also works in health care but am open to anything really. I’d probably prefer someone who didn’t work from home full time, but if you did need to set up a desk, there is space in the front room for you to do so. I’d also really love someone of a similar age and female. I’m a friendly and relaxed person, I want you to feel at home and comfortable here 😊
LGBTQIA+ friendly and I’m open to pets except rats and cats (scared of rats and my sister’s allergic to cats, sorry 😂).

Open to short term lodgers too.
