Hello everyone! Due to a long term (5yr) tenant moving out, and their replacement backing out, looking to rent out the third room of this 3 bed terrace property from mid-April. Photos attached are from when we originally moved in so it has changed slightly since, but we will be taking up to date photos when the old tenant moves out and we have professional cleaners go through the place in about a weeks time. Visitors are welcome at any point however if you get in touch to see the place ahead of time to organize.
Property has a fully furnished kitchen and living/dining room. Room has a double bed and sets of drawers, with a shared bathroom with tenant 2 including electric shower and bath, all on middle floor. I live on the self contained top floor and bottom floor is communal kitchen/living space. Parking space outside for one car/van plus additional nearby for visitors. Garden outside usable at any time.
I have rented the property from a personal friend for just over 5 years and you will sublet from me via standard sub-tenancy contract with rent paid last day of each month. Includes all bills (Gas, Electric, Water, 500mb Internet, TV License) though these will get periodically reviewed. Property owner rarely visits (Once a year or so) and leaves most of the issues for me to sort. I am also fairly new to renting to non-friends/family so forgive any naivety!
Myself and remaining tenant are young professionals (He works in IT, I work in Finance/Law in Rail though currently qualifying as a therapist) and simply want someone mature, considerate and reliable. We are both fairly quiet and nerdy, though you do not have to be those things to fit in.
