Room Available in Friendly Houseshare

Hello!

My name is Becky and, along with my housemate Jack, we are looking for someone in their 20s to join us from 7th September in our friendly 3/4-bed house share in the Gabalfa area in Cardiff.

Jack and I are working professionals. We are a friendly and quiet household and are keen to find people who will be the right fit for us.

Ideally, we are looking for a young professional or student, who is clean, tidy, happy to socialise with the house, willing to chip in buying shared items, and proactive in keeping spaces clean.

As a house, we sometimes spend evenings together watching tv/films/chatting/playing video games/going to the cinema or theatre, but also enjoy our independent time.

The room available is a downstairs, double-room with a lovely fireplace and bay window. All furniture is included, except for the bookcase in the corner.

The rent for the room is currently £600pcm. This is a four-bed property, with a spare, single room upstairs. We are content at the moment to keep it to three people, however we are open to looking for a fourth person further down the line if that seems like the right option (either way our landlord is happy to be flexible with us).

The house is spacious, with a large lounge and kitchen (with one fridge and one fridge freezer), two bathrooms (1x shower, 1x shower and bath), outside space, washing machine and tumble drier.

Rent does not include bills, which are typically around £70-80 a month each (water, energy, wifi) and we are council tax band E.

The house is on a quiet, clean street, off Whitchurch Road, with great bus links into the city centre. Our landlord is friendly and lives just round the corner, so is usually available to help with any issues quickly.
