Two friendly students seeking two more to share

Available to rent are two rooms in a clean(ish!), happy, friendly house. Both are fully furnished and have been kept well (no smoking indoors).

Thanks for checking out our advert. :) I'm Freddy, a postgraduate mathematics student, and the other house-mate is Meg, a ceramicist. We're both very sociable and keen to meet new, fun people. Naturally we also both need to work hard for our studies, so we find it best to strike a good balance between study, play and looking after the house.

In our free time we enjoy lots of activities, but mostly outdoorsy things like hiking, cycling, relaxing in the sun; also playing guitar and board games, and drinking tea, coffee or something a little stronger. Gardening is another shared hobby, and we grow lots of veggies and herbs. This complements our love of cooking fresh, healthy, and taaasty food. We're both vegetarian, but won't be too judgemental of a meat-eating housemate. ;) Finally, note that we like to keep the house in a reasonably clean and tidy state, without getting overly obsessive; our only expectation is for future house-mates to take a fair share in this work.

The house is situated in a quiet neighbourhood in Roath, approximately 15 minutes' walk from Queen Street and the city centre, from Cardiff University Students' Union, and from the nearest train station (Cathays). The neighbourhood itself is vibrant and multi-cultural, with plenty of interesting food shops and take-aways within minutes' walking time. We share a cosy living room, kitchen and bathroom between four, and we have a nice back yard in which we like to barbecue and relax. The bills are shared equally and come to about £40 per person per month.

The rooms available are both furnished with double beds and plentiful storage space for clothing and belongings. The larger of the two, for £280 per month, is available from the 1st of August, the smaller, at £240 per month, will be available from approximately the 20th of September.

We would love to share our house with two more students (PLEASE NOTE: STUDENTS ONLY, to avoid council tax issues) who are fun and sociable, and who also know the importance of study. Essential requirement: willingness to play, be silly and take an active, responsible part in the house. :) If you have one or more awesome talents, even better! Hope to meet you soon!
