Great double room available in a beautiful, friendly house for £320 pcm (ex. bills).

THE HOUSEMATES:

You will be sharing with me and another lovely lady. We are both friendly, considerate professionals in our late 20s / 30s. We work hard and enjoy chilling at home, socialising, live music and sport in our free time. This is a genuine home with a relaxed atmosphere that we’d like to share with a third housemate!

Ideally, we’re looking for another easy going professional who is a similar age, will feel at home in the house and help us keep it clean and tidy. We’d also prefer to keep the house no smoking.

THE HOUSE:

We have a beautiful living room with gas fireplace, spacious sofas, smart TV with digital channels and BBC i-player.
The dining room opens up into the modern kitchen which has an electric oven, large fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, toaster etc.
Upstairs is a roomy bathroom with toilet, large basin, bath and powerful shower. Additional toilet and sink in a separate room too.
There is broadband wifi throughout the house.
The back yard has pretty trees and bushes, a pond (including fish!), washing line, rear access gate, decking area, table and chairs for alfresco dining.

THE ROOM:

The room is furnished with a comfy double bed, solid large lockable wardrobe, drawers, mirror, curtains, lampshade and door hooks. I am happy to put up some shelves to create additional storage for you if you wish. Hanging your own pictures or long mirror is also possible so you can make the room your own.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION:

The house is in the sought after “Colonies” area, off Whitchurch Road. It has the benefit of being a quiet residential road, with ample on street parking, but also extremely close to:
• Bute Park / Taff trail
• The North Star – a boutique converted Victorian pub with live music and good grub
• Small Tesco, corner shop, Sainsburys and Co-op
• Whitchurch Road shops, restaurants, pub (The Heath), post office, hairdressers and coffee shops
• Maindy leisure centre and swimming pool
• Bus stops on regular bus routes

Cardiff city centre, the Heath hospital, Cardiff University and Roath Park are all within easy walking distance too.
