3 rooms available to students in Cathays

Hi there,

I'm a full time student at Cardiff university and have a house in Dogfield Street, Cathays. I'm looking for housemates to move in with me and my fellow housemate. Ideal housemates would be friendly and sociable, happy to do their share to keep the house somewhere nice to live and reliable to pay their share of the bills etc. Please only contact me if you're a full time student so that the house can be exempt from council tax. We're still in the process of sorting the house out. The pictures show the house as it is now, not how it will be when it is available. It will be cleaned, redecorated and made cosy before we move in! It is a 5 bedroom house, but 2 rooms are already taken. One will be taken me (19 year old female) and one by another student (22 year old male). Currently, there are 3 bedrooms available: top back, bottom front and bottom middle.

-Generous double rooms
-Furnished with a double bed, desk, desk chair, wardrobe/chest of drawers and curtains
-Carpeted
-Newly painted

The house:
-Open plan living room/kitchen
-Fully furnished, including washing machine and microwave
-Bathroom with bath and overhead shower
-Separate WC
-Small back garden
-Double glazed throughout
-Gas central heating
-Street parking with a permit
-Short walk to Cardiff university and town
-Close to bus routes and train stations
-Close to Crwys Road and amenities such as shops, supermarkets, banks, takeaways etc

As we're not yet finished working on the house we don't have an exact move-in date yet, but we're aiming for August and well before the first term of university begins. Rent will be £275 per person per calendar month excluding bills, which will probably be around an extra £10-£15 a week per person, to include gas, electricity, water, TV license and WiFi. The contract will be for 12 months. You will also need to be able to put down an extra month's rent as damage deposit prior to moving in and be able to provide a guarantor.
