Double Room in Split Level Apartment

I have a lovely room for rent in Connaught Road, Roath CF24.

It is a 2 bedroom apartment on the top floor with only two other flats in the building which are owner occupied by lovely people.

The bedroom is a light, good sized room with the usual furniture ie double bed, wardrobe/additional hanging/ clothes rail, set of drawers, desk/chair and bed side table. The room is toasty warm in the winter and cool in the summer (there is a fan) as the window can be kept open all day (due to being at the top of the building) although at the moment everywhere is hot hot hot.

There is a great storage cupboard on the landing for storing suitcases etc.

The flat isn’t perfectly decorated but has a lovely feel, its split over two floors, the kitchen and living room are downstairs to the back of the building. There is a washing machine, tumble dryer and there are two under bench fridges (which means we get one each) as well as two freezers. There is an induction hob with an electric oven and a combi-boiler. The kitchen is well kitted out and you are free to use anything you like. There is cupboard space for both of us.

The two bedrooms are upstairs & the double room to rent is at the back of the building so is very quiet (no road noise) and there is a large bathroom between the back and front bedrooms.

The rent would be £400 plus bills - I have just changed to a water meter.

I am looking for someone who is easy going, happy to live in a clean home, who enjoys a good chat and company but isn’t offended if I want time to myself. I enjoy going to the movies, spending time at the beach, eating good food with friends, all the usual stuff and also have an allotment if you like digging or growing veggies - just starting out though.

I work in University Hospital Llandough for Mental Health Services for Older People. I love travelling & lived in Australia from 1989 until 2010. There is space for visitors as the living room has a nice size sofa bed.
