Description

Hello! I currently have a two bedroom flat that I rent in Cardiff Bay. My roommate is planning to move out end of July to go and live with their partner and be all happy and stuff. I really like this flat and want to stay- so I'm hoping to find a roommate to renew the lease with in August.

I've uploaded photos of the shared spaces, but not the bedroom because my current flatmate is using it and consent is important.

The en-suite is a shower/toilet/sink combo and we also have a bath in the main bathroom which obviously is free to use.

We have one nominated bay parking space with a barrier. I don't have a car so you're welcome to this. There's also visitor parking at the front most of the time.

We're about five mins walk to Cardiff Bay station, 25 mins walk to town centre and 2 minutes away from Mermaid Quay.

Safety: we live on the road across from the police station. There's a buzzer door system and from the living room doors, you can see who's about.

About me: I'm a 30 year old professional who is pansexual and polyamorous. Also ADHD and high-functioning autistic. (It's funny how those things often go together.) I work full-time, working from home 50% of the time, I enjoy going to the gym, binge watching documentaries, playing video games and being generally a bit silly. My best roommate quality is that I'm tidy AF, my worst roommate quality is probably the sound of the smoother maker going off twice a day. I do also vape in the flat, I intend to stop soon but the reality is that it'll probably stay that way for a bit longer.
I'm pretty laid back about things and am happy in my routines. I equally enjoy my own space and spending down time with another person. I do need a flatmate who is non-judgmental of my lifestyle and genuinely cool with living with a neuro spicy human.

I'm not currently a big drinker because I'm training but no judgment if you are. My only ask is that it's not a regular occurrence of making a lot of noise late at night during weekdays as this is an apartment block and we have neighbours.

I currently pay £556.60 a month which includes everything (rent, council tax, heating, wi-fi) except the water bill, as that is 6 monthly.
My current flatmate pays £656.60 as they are in the bigger room with the en-suite bathroom. I do not mind which room I have, so you're welcome to the bigger room with the en-suite or the smaller cheaper one- whatever works best for you!

Some of the furniture will leave with the current flatmate, but we can discuss that if you're interested. This will be OUR home so things can be moved around so it fits us both. I really want to be able to find someone who'd be happy here for longer time so let's meet-up and see if we get on :)

Because I rent from an agent, the new person must be able to pass a credit check and be employed.
- I think we're able to sign a 6 or 12 month lease.
- I don't think pets are allowed but that's a question I can ask if you have pets.
- No smoking inside the flat please.
