Hello! I'm in search of a new sociable roommate to share this tranquil 2 bedroom furnished flat that overlooks the water in Cardiff Bay.

I'm David, I moved to Cardiff last September with a friend of mine for a fresh start after living my entire life in London; unfortunately my friend is moving to the US for work so I'm looking for someone to take his place in the flat.

You'll have a spacious double bedroom with full ensuite (shower/toilet), built in wardrobe and great natural light. The kitchen is fully equipped and you'll have your own segregated food storage areas ready to go. Our living room is fully furnished and has an OLED television and whiteboard. For me the balcony is the most seductive feature of the flat, where most days you can sit back with some tea watching the swans & geese on the water.

The neighbours are friendly/peaceful and the location is excellent; co-op is about a 30 second walk away, Cardiff Bay shops a 5 minute walk and Central about a 20 minute walk or 10 mins on the train.

More about me: I was previously a jeweller for just shy of 10 years back in London until I ran into some unforgiving health issues which are proving highly difficult to treat. For this reason I'm home more often than I'd like and a lot of my time revolves around medical testing and attempts at treatment. Ethnically I'm Spanish, I enjoy reading (currently chipping away at CS Lewis), the cinema, football, table tennis, culture and the esoteric. I also volunteer for Marie Curie as a companion. Things that are important to me in a flatmate are good communication skills, you're sociable, open to occasionally doing things together as well as cleanliness. I'd rather avoid the transactional two strangers who happen to live together type of energy if possible.

The minimum lease term is for 12 months and a deposit is required.
