Please read all the info below:
Large room in comfortable & cosy 5 bedroom family home with views over countryside. We are a relaxed and friendly family of 3 but you will also have plenty of privacy. Free WiFi.
Stylishly decorated with a combination of antiques & contemporary furnishing.
You have a double room with armchair. A desk and chair is available if you need it. Bed linen is provided and changed every 2 weeks. You have your own private bathroom with bath & shower opposite your room.
You have use of the shared kitchen & separate sitting room with TV available for use after 6pm. You have use of the washing machine and tumble drier. There is a a very large garden you are welcome to use. Plenty of parking on the drive.
The accommodation is most suitable for contractors/ professionals working away from home, so you return to your own place on your days off. You don’t have to be a Mon- Fri worker though - you may work different days of the week and/ or shifts. We have also enjoyed having students stay here! Ideally you need to have a car. If you haven't got your own transport please check public transport on Google maps!
The price quoted is based on staying any 5 nights per week. If you need to stay additional nights some weeks there is an additional charge in advance of £25 per night.
You will be the only lodger in our family home (we are a family of 3 plus pets).

Large garden and field where we have 3 friendly alpacas and 3 chickens. We have 2 small friendly dogs & a cat so it is essential you like animals 😊
Just 3 miles from Cowbridge and only 20 minutes from Culverhouse Cross, Cardiff, 20 minutes from Bridgend and 15 minutes from Barry. Very convenient for people working at MOD St Athan, Aston Martin, Cardiff Airport, Aberthaw and Barry.

Please note we must meet lodgers in person prior to offering the room. You must meet the following criteria:
You will need to provide photographic ID (passport or UK driving licence) proof of your permanent address e. g. a utility bill or bank statement, and a reference from your previous landlord or current employer. We also need to see your last 2 payslips or a copy of your bank statement showing you are in receipt of your salary for the last 2 months. If you are a non UK citizen we need a share code from the Home Office online service which shows your immigration status and right to rent.
One month's rent and the bond needs to be paid in advance please.
There are lots of nice walks in open countryside nearby and just 15 minutes by car from stunning National Heritage Coastline/ Wales Coast Path. We are on the National Cycle Route 88. If you have a bike you can store it in our garage.
