Description

Please let me know a little bit about you when messaging! Up to date pictures to come in the next week.

We'll consider anyone regardless of background or identity, as long as you feel the same! LGBTQ+ welcome. Home workers welcome.

The room

- Lots of built-in storage in the room as well as dedicated storage for you in the bathroom and kitchen.

The house:

- Welcoming and characterful. Has been redecorated to feel homely and have lots of spaces and uses.
- Well equipped kitchen with washer/dryer
- Living room, dining room, conservatory downstairs.

- Park nearby (in view from the window of this room), and Llanrumney Fields 5-10 mins walk
- Eastern Leisure centre very close to the house with gym/pool/classes etc.
- Good bus links into Cardiff, roughly every 10 mins.
- 25 minute bike ride to Cardiff Central station or 15 minutes to Roath/Albany Road.
- 10 min by car to City Road

I also have two lovely cats who are 2 years old (Lily is in the living room pic) - this might make it difficult to accept pets unless they are very well trained/behaved. It would be great if you were able to help feed them and let them outside while I'm away.

The house is me (35, male) and another lodger (27, female). We both do similar work in placemaking and urban design, though I work for a charity and focus more on community engagement as a project manager, and the other lodger is an urban designer. Both of us work a mixture of from home and in offices in Cardiff, and occasional work trips away.

The vibe in the house is very relaxed and peaceful. We cook often, though I do it mostly in batches.

My sister (29, female) owns the house with me and stays occasionally

These days I enjoy walks and outdoor adventures, DIY projects, entertaining and being out with friends, board games, reading, and films/fwatching football.

I have an allotment a 5 min walk away and lots of herbs and edible plants in the back garden - if you are interested in growing anything yourself I'm sure I can find you some space because it's a bit too big for me!
