I am looking for an easy going housemate to share my home with.
Initially 6 months but easily extended. Available 1st March 2026 (can be later or slightly earlier).
The Room -
Fresh and spacious bedroom (refurbished 2 years ago with 1 previous tenant), furniture includes a desk and chair (not pictured, will update photos soon), double bed, chest of drawers, and built in wardrobe.
The House -
The house is a 3 bedroom house (only 2 rooms used as bedrooms, the other is my office), with front and back gardens, a drive space for 2 cars (as well as free on street parking), a newly installed kitchen, a large living room and toilet separate to the bath/shower room. There is also Hive gas central heating. The back garden has seating, BBQ and a small outhouse for storage.
The kitchen is brand new with induction hob, fridge freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine (maybe buying a tumble dryer in the next month or so). There is also a seating area next to the kitchen with a TV.
There is fast wifi broadband mesh that covers the whole house with dedicated high speed YouFibre internet.
There is also access in the living room and kitchen to Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, Paramount+ and Nowtv.
There is a good selection of shops and takeaways 1 minute from my house -Tesco, Iceland, post office, green grocer, barber etc and there is a bus stop a stones throw away that has a good bus service that will take you into town and back again.
Eastern Leisure centre with swimming pool and gym is a 10 minute walk away.
About me -
I work from home, working in the film and tv industry.
I am a social person, like to watch movies and TV, play board games, video games, going to the pub, into town, getting takeouts, but I also understand when people need their own space and respect that.
I am clean and tidy, like to have friends over occasionally, and respect other peoples space and noise levels. Just to let you know, that I am a gay guy, in case that is an issue.
