Description
Hello, I have a room for rent in my flat in Armthorpe. It is 1st floor (1 flight of stairs) and has an entry phone. It is minimally furnished but has enough of everything to be comfortable.
The room is big enough for a double bed and has a wardrobe and set of drawers. I will put a bed in when I know what the lodger wants - more room or a bigger bed!
The flat has 2 bathrooms - my room has an ensuite and the main bathroom (shower over bath) is for the lodgers sole use. The kitchen and living room are shared. The kitchen has a hob and oven and a fridge freezer. There is plenty of cupboard space and all utensils and cutlery are provided.
There is no washing machine so you will need to use a launderette.
The flat is all electric powered - no gas. All bills and council tax are included and I'd appreciate sparing use of the heating during winter - it’s not cheap to run.
There is one allocated parking space that you’ll be free to use when I’m not around but I will need it free for when I am in town.
I use the flat when I’m working and live elsewhere when I’m off shift - I work a shift pattern of 4 or 5 days on and 4 or 5 days off. I leave the flat around 6am and return about 7-8pm. This means the lodger will have sole use of the flat 4 or 5 days a week. You’ll only see me in the evenings during these periods. I like my own space and keep myself to myself. I need my peace and quiet when I am at the flat due to the long days I work and a good nights sleep is essential – therefore no party animals please!
