Room in two bedroom house in Meersbrook S8

I have a double room available to rent in my house in Meersbrook.

About the house:
The house is a semi-detached (although in the style of a terrace) two-bedroom properly located in Meersbrook, at the top end of Meersbrook Park. Downstairs is a kitchen/dining room and living room. The room for rent is on the first floor along with the bathroom, and my bedroom is in the attic.

About the area:
There is a handy little shop just around the corner, a lovely coffee shop less than a hundred yards away and Meersbrook Park is just a few minutes’ walk along the road. Also within a minute or two are bus stops on convenient routes to the city centre, which takes about 15 minutes.

About the room:
The room is a decent sized double bedroom which has just been redecorated, including a new carpet, bed and brand-new mattress. There is a desk, chest of drawers, bedside table and a built-in, walk-in (slightly) cupboard, which also has a smaller lock-able cupboard inside. Any of the furniture can be removed if required, and I intend to get a desk chair to go with the desk.

About me:
I’m 38, and work freelance doing woodwork/DIY and web design. This means I’m sometimes working from home, or sometimes out and about or at my workshop. I’m very happy for a prospective tenant to make full use of the shared areas and make themself feel at home. I like to cook so have a well-stocked kitchen, which the tenant is welcome to make full use of. I don’t eat animals and try to minimise waste as much as possible, but I’m not obsessive or judgemental about either.
