Double room overlooking the garden available, in spacious 3 bed house, 1 min walk from top of Meersbrook Park. From September 2025.

3 bed house size but 2 housemates total (me and the new person.

Larger house but we've been living 2 housemates total (including me) :)
Own is moving out, so staying as total 2.

Lovely house with big garden. Open plan lounge situation :)
Also walking distance to Bishops house, shops, pubs etc.

There are lots of extra spaces, outside of the double room, in the house to relax in:
Large garden, dining room, lounge, a reading/ yoga room, and an attic room, which can also be used if people stay over.

Furnished, I’m the owner and looking for lodger/ friend to share the beautiful space with me.

My interests include: hiking, gardening, dub, jigsaws, hoop dance, having friends over for food/ films/ games/ bbqs/drinks, climbing.

Do enjoy a boogie occasionally, and as mentioned its nice having people over to enjoy the space, but I largely enjoy having a ‘safe haven’ peaceful house midweek late evening, to allow rest etc.

There is a washer drier
No dishwasher (yet)
Shower and bath.
Shed for bikes etc
Lots of parking (not parallel) on the rd.

I work not from home, 4 days/ week, shower in am.

Rent £550 + bills separately (water, internet, gas + electric, council tax split equally [Band B]). (£150)- so total £700.

In return for splitting between 2 rather than 3, we get a lovely green and spacious living environment :)

Pets absolutely considered,
Smoking is fine in garden,
LGBT, alternative living-friendly vibe,
