Description

The Current occupant is moving out on the 10th May but the room may be available earlier. So do esquire if you need a room before then.

Due to COVID we will not be having in person tours of the house. However I am happy to show you around via whatsapp, facetime, skype or zoom.

We are looking for friendly, easy going and tidy people (who like cats ) to share our family home. Also need to be respectful of people having to get up early for work. This is not a party house but very much a comfortable relaxed home.

The House
It is a warm family home we also have 2 very much loved cats who also share the house. The house benefits from a fast broadband service.

There is currently one bright and lovely double bedroom available. The cost is £285 per month. All Bills including internet and council tax are all included.

The main bathroom has a bath and an overhead shower..

The shared living room is warm and comfortable and also has an open fire which is used on the colder days. It also has a large TV if you want a quite night in to watch Netflix.

The kitchen incorporates the dining area and has a dual fuel double oven cooker, a new dishwasher and ample storage. The kitchen is very comfortable, is well used and has various kitchen gadgets for all to use.

The porch attached to the kitchen contains the washing machine, the fridge freezer, has storage for outdoor shoes and coats.

The Area:
The property is a 3 bed terraced house on a quiet street just off the main shopping area of Crookes. There are several supermarkets, restaurants and cafes in the area and some decent pubs and take away restaurants, and also a really nice green grocers. There is ample free parking on the main road. It is within walking distance to the University and to the Hospitals. The town centre is also accessible by walking but if you prefer a bus it is served by an excellent bus route and a 10/15 minute walk to a Tram stop near Sheffield University. It is very near a lovely park which leads to numerous walks into the countryside.

We require a reference from a previous landlord and proof of income.

We also expect lodgers to be respectful of others, clean up after themselves and equally help with the maintenance of a clean home.

We do consider couples at an increased rent of 645 for both rooms (second room is larger, not pictured or advertised as it is currently occupied and we would need sufficient forewarning).
