If you are looking to share with other people, if you are sociable and outgoing, and enjoy the company of flatmates, it’s probably best if you stop reading this now. Likewise, if you’re looking for a flat that you can bring your mates back to for a party, this is not the right place for you.
However, if you are a single woman, who likes privacy, a clean space that’s quiet and peaceful, and you enjoy your own company, please read on.
The studio is large (45 foot long), airy, with big windows giving lots of light. It comes fully furnished, with loads of storage, a new Ikea kitchen, with lots of kitchen equipment included, tastefully decorated. The studio space is the whole of the first floor of an extension to a large house. There is use of a washing machine and tumble drier., the bathroom is only minimally shared, all heating bills, power, water, TV licence and council tax are included in the rent.
Does this sound like your idea of heaven: your own fridge and kitchen, no noises from the other bedrooms, just peace and quiet, civilised neighbours, close to 95 and 52 bus routes, five minutes to Bolehills. There are some (inevitable) downsides: no offstreet parking; we’re “above the snow line” in Crookes; the bathroom is at the bottom of a flight of stairs. It’s not a tenancy, it’s a lodging (different rules apply). And most importantly, you have to be the right person for us, as you’d be living in our house. Could you be the right person for the studio?
