Spacious Double Room in Upperthorpe

I have a generously sized double room in my lovely Victorian Semi detached house in Upperthorpe.

The house is very conveniently situated near the city centre, University of Sheffield and Teaching Hospitals.
Infirmary Road tram stop is 4 minutes walk from the house and the city centre is a 9 minute ride away on either the blue or yellow line. You can also walk in 20-25 minutes.

Shareable kitchen facilities, bath/shower and cosy lounge for relaxing. Sonos soundsystem througout the house, wood burning stove, Small but much loved, private back garden. Free street parking.

Upperthorpe is a vibrant residential area, with a fantastic local community. The house is few minutes walk from an Aldi and a Tesco and also has access to excellent local mini markets. Lively Kelham Island is very close by, which has excellent cafes and nightlife.

I live in the house with my housemate Nat and our friendly cat Suki. I have a flexible work schedule and I work from home sometimes, but for most of the year, I'm abroad, so it's more of a two person house than a three person house. It's a wonderful, supportive and intelligent household, where everyone has space to exist comfortably.

I am looking for a personable and considerate lodger that would be happy to hang out from time to time, but also respects our personal space. We will in turn do the same. I would also love a lodger, who doesn't mind taking care of our cat.

We keep the house very clean (we didn't tidy up for the photos), so this room would suit someone who wants to live in calm and clean house. We are both friendly and like to chat with other people, but also appreciate time to ourselves. We do have house dinners and cups of tea and chats. It's fine to have friends round, but it's not a rave house.
