Hi, I’m Matthew — thanks for checking out the spare room in my home!

At the moment, I’m only letting out this one cosy room, and I don’t plan to take on more than one lodger—or if you're a couple wanting to share the room, if that’s your style.

The Location:
The house is on Denmark Road in Heeley, a quiet little street about a 20-minute stroll from the town centre and Meersbrook Park. Bonus: there’s a small forest nearby, perfect for quick woodland escapes or a bit of fresh air. Street parking is plentiful, and you’ll find a handful of vibrant cafés, Heeley Green, and tasty places to eat within a 10-minute walk.

The Room:
Double bed, wardrobe, desk and chair, plus shelves—basically everything you need to make it your own little creative hub.

The Bathroom:
Modern and practical: toilet, sink, bath, and a power shower to wake you up or wash the day off.

The Kitchen:
You get your own fridge space, shared freezer, washing machine, and tumble dryer. One cupboard all to yourself, plus shared plates, pots, cups, cutlery, gas cooker, electric oven, kettle, Air Fryer and microwave.

A bit about me:
I’m 44, non-smoker, a bit of a music nerd (pianist, teacher, producer), and pretty open-minded.

I love meeting new people—especially if you’re a creative soul, a traveller, or someone from a different culture.

Ideally, I’m looking for a friendly, tidy lodger with similar vibes. Bonus points if you’re into creativity!

No pets, sorry.
