ABOUT THE ROOMS/HOUSE
£500 p/m each inclusive of bills (internet, water, gas, electric, council tax - not TV licence), and general household bits like toilet roll, bin bags, and cleaning products.

The rooms come furnished with a standard double mattress/bed with storage space underneath, bedside table, clothes rail, chest of drawers, and a sit/stand desk and chair.

Bedroom 1 - available end of Sept/start of Oct
Bedroom 2 - available now/whenever!

In the rest of the house there’s:
• a porch to store shoes and coats
• a kitchen with table and chairs, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer and ample cupboard space
• a living room with large sofa bed and projector
• a bathroom with tub
• a small bricked garden
• a basement for storing some extra things

ABOUT THE AREA
Hillsborough is an underrated gem. The postcode is S6 1SG, and the house is a short walk from bus/tram stops, gyms, supermarkets, the main high street which has cafes, craft beer, Boots and a plethora of charity shops, and perhaps the best bit: the park. There’s a weekly Park Run, Courtside and Depot cafe at its centre which backs onto the walled garden.

I’m looking for good vibes, people who are left/left-leaning politically, willing to pitch in on house chores, and up for the occasional bit of socialising like dinners, films, boardgames.

ABOUT ME
I’ve rented in shared houses for over a decade and while this is my first home I’ll continue to be a good housemate. I work from home during the week, but keep an active social life. In my spare time I volunteer, I enjoy weightlifting, being outdoors, music, film, books, and all things food. I'm a long time vegan, and you definitely don't have to be, but if you are veggie or not super into meat at every meal that's a bonus.
