Lodgers who don’t mind a husky ☺️

Hi 👋 I live here and I’m inviting you to live here too! I’m 30 years old. I’m female.

I’ve just bought the house off of my ex and I’m looking for a roomie to help me afford it, doesn’t have to be for long, or if you’re nice you can stay aha 🥹 I haven’t done much with the house yet, but I’m abit of a plant collector so it looks okay-ish, I have big plans but just need to be able to afford it (thats where you come in).

So about the house location:
I’m next to the river and the trams and just off the high street so lots of little shops and close to Morrisons and Aldi. There is parking but it’s on the next road down, if you don’t mind a little walk. There are 2x pubs close by to the house (one is the cheapest spoons in Sheffield).

I have a dog, a husky, she’s 8 years old so she’s quite chill now (can’t let her off the lead because she has absolutely no recall) but it would be good for her to have someone in sometimes that isn’t me. She does jump up but once she’s over that she just follows you around or chills on the sofa. She gets a say in if you lodge with me, so keep that in mind. 👀

The house is a decent size, detached so don’t have to worry about neighbours, locked storage for a bike if you need, no garden but abit of a yard on the back. Faces the river so lots of nature / wildlife. Good security.

10min walk to Rivelin Valley, Hillsborough Park & 20min walk to Bole Hills if you like walking / running.

The room is just a bedroom, rustic low double bed made out of pallets that everyone seems to shun, but I love it. I can provide bedding if you need because the beds already sorted, it’s a nice light room! Lots of wardrobe space (drawers in wardrobe too) and blinds rather than curtains in the bedroom. Not sure why but the window won’t open in the bedroom 🤪 - still figuring things out, maybe you can open it? - had some trouble with the door to the bedroom too and now I need a joiner (that’s why I’m delaying my responses, sorry guys!)

Shared bathroom (double sinks), w/large shower and Japanese soaking tub (sounds weirder than it is). Bathrooms not quite done but I’m on it (just raising funds).

Shared lounge and kitchen, utility room. I don’t mind smokers but only outside please.

I have internet but not sure how to work the telly yet 😅 - honestly not lived alone in forever and so I’m still figuring it out and getting by. I have always lived with others (either house share, friends or partner) so I’m ready for someone else to be around again - you dont even have to socialise with me tbh, just having someone in the house is nice, makes me feel safer too! (My street is pretty secluded and safe though tbh).

Hit me up if I don’t sound like too much of a weirdo. Nice people only please, I’m pretty chill and have lots of stuff going on, so I’m not always in. Sometimes I wfh, sometimes I don’t 🫣 it really depends what works like!
