Description

My partner and I are looking for someone to replace our housemate in the 2nd large double bedroom of a lovely house, preferably long term. Available November - exact dates are a work in progress!

We are friends with our current housemate and would like to find someone we get on with just as well :)

Laura works from home as a 3D artist in the small box room.
H is currently part-time barista at a coffee shop.

We usually spend a lot of our time camping/climbing/hiking cycling/swimming etc. Would prefer to find someone who has similar interests. We are generally up early and out doing things so its really important to have a quiet and relaxing place to come back to! We have time to ourselves but also enjoy hanging out with housemates + very occasionally having friends for dinners/films or drinks/bbq in the garden over summer. Definitely not a party house.

We try to be considerate of everyone + encourage open communication so if feels like home for all of us :). We really want to continue to keep the place clean and tidy.

The bedroom is semi-furnished with a large double bed with a very comfy memory foam mattress. There's a large built in closet for storage. There's also additional basement storage (fairly damp) mostly useful for bikes.

The kitchen is a good size with gas stove, dishwasher, fridge, freezer + large fold out table. The living room is fairly small but cosy, and features a log burner + H's TV (just netflix + prime)

There is a shared garden out the back. We get on well with the neighbors. There's a small garden out front too.

Meersbrook is a great area, 1 min down the road is a lovely bakery/coffee place called I said Bread. Meersbrook park and the woods are 5 min away for walks/hilly runs. Lidl is 15min walk down the road too. Climbing works is 25 min walk/5min cycle. There is plenty parking on the street.

The rent doesn't include bills but that has so far been an additional £112 each inc netflix, spotify (optional), fast broadband, Band A council tax + gas/electric. (varies) any pets would have to be run by the landlords first. No students for council tax reasons.
