Large Double Attic Room in PhD House

Hello,

We are 2 female PhD chemical engineering students and a sausage dog called Doris looking for a housemate to join us in early September.

The house has a good sized kitchen, dining room, lounge, courtyard/garden, a shared bathroom, and a cellar for storage. We have a washing machine, dryer and dishwasher and there is on street parking available with no permit. Your room will be a spacious double attic room on the third floor. We are located a 2 minute walk from the Hallamshire House pub.

We are a sociable household and enjoy trips to the pub, walks, and will very occasionally have our research group or friends over for BBQs and dinner. Other than that, the house is a quiet and respectful environment, especially because we have PhDs to be getting on with!

We are looking for a clean and friendly housemate who will preferably join us with pub trips and the occasional bbq at the house. We would prefer a masters or PhD student as this would work best with council tax.

Doris the sausage dog belongs to one of the house mates so you would have no responsibility for the dog (other than the occasional belly rub). She is very friendly with people and spends most of the day snoozing. Unfortunately no further pets are to be considered - sorry!

We currently pay £80 a month into a joint bills account and this is used to pay utility bills, tv licence, toilet roll, dishwasher tablets and communal cleaning products.
