Description
I'm starting a Year Abroad study at the end of January so need a tenancy takeover until the end of the contract in 28th June 2025. I'm at the University of Sheffield currently which is a 20-minute walk from the house, while Sheffield Hallam's campus is located a minute's walk away.
LOCATION
The house is in an ideal location for any student or young professional. Whenever I need to go grocery shopping, I've had the options of Aldi, Tesco and M&S all within a short distance of the house. Ecclesall Road has many independent shops cafe's, and second-hand stores. Sharrow Vale Road is also 5 minutes away and contains many lovely shops there too.
If you want to get into the Peaks, there is a nearby bus that takes you into the mountains or you can go via train with the station around a 20-minute walk away. The house is also very close to the Botanical Gardens in Sheffield and Endcliffe Park, meaning local green spaces are abundant and easily accessible.
KITCHEN
We have two large fridges in the house and share a gas stove for cooking purposes. The kitchen and living room is open plan which is good for socialising with other housemates. The house includes a washing and drying machine too for any laundry.
There is also a good TV in the living room with terrestrial television and an Xbox which everyone in the house uses.
BATHROOMS
There are two bathrooms located on the ground and first floor. There are two showers and one bath, meaning that one bathroom is usually available when needed.
BEDROOM
The available room is located on the top floor of the house and fully furnished with a double bed, built-in wardrobe, office desk with chair, and a bedside cabinet. I've found that this has been quiet and I haven't been disturbed by any noises nearby.
This house is ideal if you're planning on somewhere to stay in a great location at an affordable rate. Bills are not included in the rent but have been £80 a month this year. I get on well with the rest of the tenants who are very welcoming and enjoy going out but respectful of others in the house. Send me a message if you want extra details or interested in moving in.
