Description
Hi!
My name is Zee and I work from home for a mental health charity.
To be upfront, I would be looking at a sublet situation with a flatmate at first, for a period of time to see how we get on.
About the room:
I live in a 2 bed flat alone since the other tenant moved out 2 years ago, and the room is available immediately. It's an attic room with a double bed and it's a really good size, gets a lot of light and I have a sit stand desk in there which you're welcome to use or to ask me to take out. It's a deep desk so good for gaming or large monitors, if you also work from home. There's also a spare TV you are welcome to have in your room.
About me/my routine:
I will be home Monday-Thursday 9-5 due to work.
Typically I am out for many evenings and weekends going to gigs or seeing friends at the pub and I'm almost always out on Wednesday evening when I play football, so that could be a nice recurring time you know you have alone. Weightlifting is my one true love and so I also spend around 10 hours at the gym every week!
All this means I am not home much outside of my work hours. If I am home, I'm playing games, watching cartoons/shows on TV, reading, or doing some kind of art.
I may sound like a sociable sausage but I am actually an introvert! I have lived alone here for 2 years now and I do see coming home as my break from peopleing. That being said, I will be around to have a natter and a brew if you are up for that, but I'm also happy with a silent housemate if you prefer.
About you!
I love all animals so bonus points if you come with a dog or cat (provided they're not destructive of furniture as this place is fully furnished by the LL - what he doesn't know won't hurt but I don't want to be explaining wrecked sofas!)
I am a very liberal person with a 'you do you' outlook and I expect the same back, all I ask is that whatever you're into or like to with your time, make sure it doesn't cause problems for my neighbours & it'll all be gravy!
The room is listed as £400 and £450. This is because all bills are included but gas and leccy will vary depending on if you are someone who wants the heating on a lot, so it's £400-£450 pm depending on the cost of the energy bill.
