Big double room in Meersbrook

I'm 37 and a Civil Servant. I'm buying a lovely terrace house in Meersbrook, just north of the park. I'm looking for someone to rent the double bedroom in the dormer roof conversion. It's a good size room with lots of light. I'll be the only other person living in the house.

Important: the pictures are of the room but the furniture isn't mine! See the info below.

I enjoy hiking, board games, literature, philosophy and film. I'd love to live with someone who would be a potential friend. I want my renter to feel happy and at home in the house. If you're interested, please message telling me a bit about yourself.

Important: I will be getting a dog. The dog will be entirely my responsibility but you should hopefully like him/her!

Also, rent can possibly be flexible for the right person. I would consider charging less for someone who only wanted the room Monday-Friday, for example. I would like a long-term renter ideally, but in the beginning I would like only a max three-month commitment while we get to know each other.

I'm moving in on Jan 24th, so I will need a couple of weeks to furnish the house. I am planning to furnish the bedroom with a bed, chest of drawers/wardrobe and a desk. However if you have your own furniture I can provide the room unfurnished.

I can provide pictures of the rest of the house to any suitable candidates. However the pictures are of the house as it currently is, so not with my furniture. They'll give you an idea of the house though. It's a really lovely and spacious house! I'm so excited for it to be my home. Maybe it could be your home too 😀
