Description
The house has plenty of communal space on the ground floor and a yard outside. There are 3 good sized Bedrooms (one of which has a small ensuite) which you can have your choice of. I am only planning to rent out one of these rooms and keep the other as a spare. There is also a reasonably clean, dry basement for any additional storage needs.
Bills currently come to around £350 a month (including band A council tax) but should decrease as the weather gets warmer. This would be split between occupants.
I am 26 year old Structural Engineer who is into nature, the outdoors and Boardgames. It would be nice to have a housemate with things in common to be social with but also the house is big enough to be able to keep yourself to yourself.
There is free on street parking outside and the house is 100m from the Malin Bridge Tram stop for getting into town & Lidl is just across the road.
The start of both the Rivlin Valley and Loxley Valley trails are across the road and Damflask reservoir and the Peak District are only 10 minutes drive away for going walking or running.
I am currently planning for my girlfriend to move in at the end of June but am happy to continue renting the room beyond then and would decrease the rent appropriately.
The house is currently pet free however I will consider pets but my girlfriend is allergic to certain pet hair so will have to judge this on a case by case basis. I will also consider couples but would need to negotiate the share of bills/ rent.
