Looking for a housemate in Salmon Street S11

Hi!

Room going in a three bedroom house on Salmon street (London road area in Sheffield) 🐟 with Julia and Christabel.

🗓 Move-in date: 29th March 2026
💸 Rent: £230 pcm, Bills around 100£ all inclusive

We are looking for people who want to make a warm and beautiful home, enjoy sharing food and aspects of communal living and sharing space with a cat. Get in touch if you are interested or want to know more, or please forward to people you think would be a good fit or you would vouch for.

The house:

The house is really close to the city centre and to places to eat and hang out.
It's a semi detached house on three floors. We have a dining room and a separate living room, and houseplants (more welcome). The house is generally light and peaceful. We have a cat called Leo who lives between the outside and inside and is loving and strong willed. 🐆 We share some of the food and shop for some things communally, and also have some separate food. We also have a cleaning rota that works pretty well. We would like a new housemate to contribute to good working systems and communication between us.

We have a nice garden that gets lots of light and has a washing line and plants and vegetables growing. We have a bike shed 🚲 with a ground anchor for security in the back garden. We like to have guests around to stay or for meals but we are overall a quiet house.

The new housemate would not be officially on the contract (please contact us for Qs about this).

Access

The house does not have any steps to access the doorway or ground floor. The communal areas such as kitchen, living room, and dining room are on the ground floor. The bathroom, toilet, and room are on the first floor. The house is not wheelchair accessible, does not haveaccess ramps, and the bathroom and toilet does not have any specific accessibility adaptations.
The stairs’ individual step height is 8cm. We can take pictures of specific things if needed- please ask!

Housemates

Christabel (she/her) is into herbs and flavours and outdoor adventures, likes games and fun and really loves being in the kitchen. Works from home a few days a week. Would really like to live with other queers and people with energy to put into home making.

Julia (she/her) is into making things, getting outside regardless of the weather, and welcomes the silly and serious sides of life. Hybrid working; from home, in the community and from an office in Sheffield. Would like to live communally with queer folk.

● Rent starting at £230 pcm. Bills around 100£/month all inclusive.
