Spacious double room in lovely Walkley with garden

Hi I’m Sarah, and my lovely housemate has moved out so I’m looking for somebody to move into the double room!

Homely and comfortable houseshare with lots of space - as well as your room, there’s a shared lounge, dining room, study/ work from home space, kitchen and garden - and a basement and shed for more storage. Two bedrooms, so communal space is shared between 2 people.

I am currently renting this house in the heart of Walkley from a local landlord.

There is one spacious bedroom available. I am in the attic, and there is also a spare room used as study/work from home space.

The bedroom has great views of the sunrise. It has a big under stairs storage cupboard, mirror, a bed, mattress and clothes rail. A wardrobe is also available!

The house has an amazing long garden with lots of flowers, fresh herbs, fruit trees, compost heap and gardening tools

The house is technically unfurnished, but I have inherited a lot of nice furniture from previous tenants, there’s lots of storage and a sofa bed for guests.

The spare room is a study with desk/chair etc. I work from home 2 days per week so we can easily share the study.

Communal lounge and dining room with TV, chrome cast, and sofa bed.

Bathroom has a bath and a good shower.

Kitchen is small but it’s never been a problem between 2 people, gas oven, microwave, air fryer etc lots of equipment to share

Cellar with space for bikes / suitcases etc

Location:
Walkley is a friendly and safe area with cafes and shops. There is free on street parking in the area and the 95 bus runs down the main road past Uni of Sheffield and all the way to the train station. The Asda is a 30 second walk away. There are local takeaways and shops on South Road and it is only a 10 minute walk up to Crookes high street and 15mins to Hillsborough.

PRICE
The rent is £400/month plus bills
Currently this comes to £550 each total, but bills might be adjusted in April if water or council tax rates change.

About me:
I work as a Landscape Architect but I used to work in charity/social action. I lived in Spain for a few years before Sheffield, I enjoy cooking, pub quizzes, walking, going to the theatre etc. My boyfriend lives in York, I’m sometimes away at weekends visiting him or my family/friends. I love gardening so that’s a major perk of this house for me!

I am looking for a sociable flat mate.
Me and the previous tenants used to enjoy sharing meals, watching TV and catching up after work. We’ve always kept the house nice and tidy, so looking to keep that going.
