We are looking for a new lodger to live with us in our home in Crookes. We are an easygoing couple who work in the university and theatre sectors. We have had a very successful lodger arrangement with a masters student for the last two academic years and are ideally looking for another masters student for this listing as we found it worked so well. Our current lodger leaves for much of the university holidays so we can have the room back to host friends and family, and no rent is payable during holiday periods when they are not living here. There is no need to fully vacate the room and storage spaces. We find this suits both parties and are looking for someone who an arrangement like this would appeal to.

We are a two-minute walk from the Crookes high street with all of its cafes, bars and local shops; also a one-minute walk from a set of footpaths which lead all the way to the Rivelin valley, and the Peaks beyond. The road is quiet and the neighbourhood friendly with an active Whatsapp group and a regular market.

There is a third member of the family - our cat! We both sometimes have periods working outside of Sheffield, and so there may be times when you will be home alone with her. We are looking for a lodger who likes cats and who likes the idea of living with one, giving her strokes and letting her sit on your lap!

All bills including council tax will be included in the rent subject to a reasonable fair usage policy.
