Double room available in Walkley

Hi, I’m Amy! I’ve been living in this house for about a year and a half and I absolutely love it here. I work in the people/support charity sector and I’m someone who genuinely cares about the people around me, at work and at home.

At home I’m relaxed and sociable but sometimes love a retreat to my room after a busy day. I love having friends over for dinner and I want the house to feel open and communal, more of a home than just a place to live. I’m not a big party person but I do love a boogie!

Outside of work I love cycling and bikepacking, growing my own veg on my allotment and a good mix of slow weekends and weekends away. I’m also into psychology, good food and all things nature!

Oh and I have two friendly cats, they’re very much part of the household!

I’m looking for someone who’d enjoy being part of that kind of warm, communal atmosphere. Respectful, communicative, honest, considerate and up for the occasional shared dinner or spontaneous dance in the kitchen.

The Room
A good-sized double room with built-in storage/wardrobe with lots of hanging space and shelving. The room is east-facing so you’ll get lovely natural light in the mornings. (Photo to come!!)

The House
A classic terraced house in Walkley. It’s a gorgeously quiet street with lovely neighbours either side. At the back of the house you get a gorgeous view of the Peaks and it never gets old.

Shared spaces include the kitchen, lounge, bathroom and garden. There is also on-street parking available.

There are good bus and tram links into the city and Bole Hills and Crookes both within easy walking distance.

- Rent is £900 for the property which is split equally at £450 each
