Description

I'm looking for one female lodger to share with two other female lodgers and me. The lodgers are both young professionals with full lives who are out during the day. I am a retired NHS professional who isn't around much. We are friendly and welcoming, but have full lives so the room may be most suitable for someone looking for a quiet and private space. We are all kind and respectful so would welcome a new lodger with the same qualities.

This is my family home so my belongings are around the house. You would be a lodger rather than a full house share.

The available double bedroom is at the front of the house and looks over the lovely park. It is furnished with a double bed, bedside table, chest of drawers, book shelf, low sofa and desk with chair. There are large built in wardrobes with cupboards above so there is lots of space to store your personal possessions in your bedroom.
The house is a large 4 bedroomed well-maintained house situated opposite a large park in south Sheffield.
The first floor double bedroom that is available shares the main bathroom (with over bath electric shower) just with the other female lodger. There is also a shared loo on the ground floor for anyone in the household to use.
All bills (gas, electricity, council tax, TV licence, wi-fi) are included in the rent, but please note we don't usually have the heating on during the day and are being extra careful with energy usage nowadays.

You would share the use of the large well equipped kitchen, sitting room, dining room and large garden.
You would be welcome to have occasional visitors (staying over max once a fortnight).

The very large park over the road is wonderful for easy access to nature, with varied landscapes and a weekly Park Run. There is a tennis and leisure centre 15 mins walk up the hill and Climbing Works indoor climbing wall a 30 minute walk down the hill.
A range of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants are 5-10 mins walk away, and by car there is easy access to the Peak District or motorways. We have parking available on the quiet cul-de-sac at the end of the long garden and secure bicycle storage. There are frequent buses running from outside the house into the city centre (20-30 mins, about 4 miles) making the universities and station accessible.
Please be aware that the house is strictly non-smoking and I'm afraid we cannot accommodate pets.
