Hi there!
My name is Catherine, and I'm a 31 year old woman who currently works in the the NHS. I split from my husband in 2017 and have had a long term housemate since then, but she’s moving out and I'm now looking for someone else to live with me.
I work normal office hours and I do like my own company. I'm not adverse to a glass of something and a chin wag though! Ideally I'm looking for someone similar who appreciates their own space but is friendly and happy to pass the time of day together! My ideal housemate would have to love cake - I bake a LOT - and not be the type to want to have noisy parties every weekend! I love my house even though it's not perfect in any way, shape or form,, so like to keep communal areas tidyish but definitely not in an uptight, show home way. The house has loads of weird quirks, for example, the bathroom tap is on the wrong way which even after living here for over 2 years I forget every time I go to wash my hands!
The room itself is a double attic room. There are two distinct areas in the attic, a large area for sleeping in and a smaller room that there is currently a small sofa in. This is a pretty nice area for watching Netflix on a laptop or similar!
I do have a cat, Luca, who is my soulmate. He is pretty easy to live with, but he does like cuddles and can be a bit needy on occasion. They mainly love my boyfriend though, which does hurt my feelings sometimes!! Speaking of which – I’m often at his house overnight so you’d have the house to yourself a couple of nights a week at least.
The pictures are from when I thought we were going to have to sell the house when me and my husband broke up, so aren't brand new and a couple of things look different – I’ve bought a huge, snuggly new sofa for example, and the attic room doesn't have a creepy looking horse in there any more, but it gives a good idea of what the house is like!
