An old but rather lovely house with large gardens around it, set back from a main road and screened by mature trees.

The large double room pictured in this ad overlooks the front garden, with a smaller window looking out onto the side garden.

The house is fully carpeted, has gas central heating, is fully double glazed and has wifi.

The room contains a double bed, 2 chests of drawers, a wardrobe, dining table and 2 chairs, two armchairs, a TV point and TV table.

The bathroom and kitchen are shared, but there is a cloakroom downstairs, however there is no sitting room or lounge. The washing machine is outside in the utility room and there is plenty of drying space both outside on lines and inside on heated rails.

There is a cat in residence but he kindly allows us to live there as well, which makes this house unsuitable for anyone who suffers from asthma.

The garden is large with many mature trees including fruit trees. The patio is at one side of the house and parking is available on the drive.

There are no bills other than the rent, and although the tenants are responsible for their own room, the common areas are maintained by myself.

The house is a 10 minute walk from Rotherham hospital. It is close to Whiston crossroads giving easy access to Rotherham, Wickersley, Sheffield, the Parkway and the M1 and M18 motorways.

This is an easy going and happy household which would suit someone who wants a quiet and tranquil retreat at the end of the day.
