Description
Hi, I'm Zoë (they/them) and I am looking to share my home in Woodhouse S13. Start date flexible.
Parking space taken. Smaller room now taken. Larger room still available.
Internal garage would be good storage for a bike, for example, but not enough space for a car.
There is space to work from home, not a dedicated office but can use communal areas. Generally a quiet household.
As I am non-binary, I would prefer to share my home with female/non-binary/trans/gender diverse people as opposed to a cis males.
About the space:
15 mins drive from centre of Sheffield/25 mins on the bus. Queer friendly household, detached house, on a quiet street in a leafy area. Room has a bed, a mattress, built-in wardrobes and a chest of drawers.
Communal spaces: large kitchen, lounge, dining room, downstairs loo, conservatory, garden, shared upstairs bathroom. Parking available on street.
Due to plans to move in with my partner, room is only available until February 2026.
About me:
I'm left wing and a vegetarian/vegan. Lover of animals. I have two silly little cats. Buddhist. I work as a nurse, sometimes from home. I have a partner who visits regularly. Actively welcoming anyone who finds it tricky to find safe spaces. I know there is not a lot of legal protection for lodgers, so will be absolutely honest and respectful at all times.
Other housemate (moving in at end of July) is friendly and likes cats.
Open to couples, but would need to negotiate an increase to rent.
Open to cats, or a non-prey animal (e. g. not a rodent). No dogs, sorry :(
