Single room available in a three bedroom property in a nice quiet area of Burntwood. The single room has wardrobe and draws plus TV. The house comprises of a shared lounge area and conservatory. Modern kitchen and utility and a shared shower room. There is on street parking which is covered by CCTV however will have space on the driveway for another vehicle in time.
There is a nice slabbed garden/patio area with raised borders and pergola with gas BBQ.

He is looking for someone who is clean and tidy, a responsible and considerate person who likes dogs. He shares his dogs (elderly Spaniels) with his ex wife therefore he is unable to have anyone with pets. He would prefer someone who does not work from home full time however he is quite happy for someone who does a couple of times a week. Non smokers only and no drugs, he is a recently retired police officer so looking for someone who does not have issues with the law.

Chris is an experienced live in landlord and has maintained friendships with those that have moved on should you wish for reference’s. Me being one. He is very easy going and become a good friend of mine. Chris is starting a new career which may mean he is not home for a few days a week.

This is not necessarily a first come first in basis, as he has been let down quite a few times. It's more of how compatible you as the Tennant would be. Chris has given chances to people and been let down and out of pocket.
He's very welcoming and friendly for a chat or a viewing.

As I say Chris has been a live-in landlord and very experienced.
Preferably references when viewing from previous lodging. If this is your first time he is more than happy for a guarantor/work reference to support your application.

Chris will complete a Written lodger agreement for your peace of mind.

As I say, I am now a life long friend if Chris after not knowing him and just renting this room. He is a friendly, no-nonsense but all round amazing guy.
